Dust Palliative Application-Bice Road 7/27/2017

Dust Palliative Application on Bice Rd
Continues Today

Dear Neighbors

BCCA (Beaver Creek Community Association) was expecting the dust treatment and grading on Bice Rd, but thought that we’d have a heads up warning.  Oh well,  it’s a good thing and we have been asking the county for improvements. Beaver Creek Transit drove back & forth on the road twice yesterday.  With a little patience, no problem.
Yavapai County Public Works estimates that the project would require two days for grading and application.  The palliative is a liquid co-polymer that smells like Elmer’s glue.  We hope that it will be effective and appreciate the efforts extended on making a change to benefit the health of residents in Beaver Creek.
Hoping for less dust!!

Pitch in for BCS Kids: Donations Still needed! 7/21/2017

Needed for School
Beaver Creek School is reaching out to the community for funds for our student backpack program.  Every year we give out 80+ backpacks at our back to school barbeque.  Backpacks are also given out throughout the school year as the need arises.  School supplies are earmarked for the students that receive backpacks, and these supplies are delivered to their classrooms.
 Merryl with Backpack
Previously the program has been funded through donations, both private and through organizations and businesses.  The McLarin family funded that program for several years through their tireless fundraising efforts.  Those funds have been depleted, but the need remains the same.
Backpacks and school supplies as well as classroom supply lists are on the website at  www.bcs.k12.az.us .
Cash donations would also help.  If you are interested in making a donation to Beaver Creek School, please contact Sharon Brooks or Merryl Dones at 928 567-4631, or bring donations to the school at 4810 E. Beaver Creek Road in Rimrock.  The Back to School Barbeque is on Thursday, August 3 from 6 to 7:30 PM.
Thank you.
