Membership: Ron is preparing a letter to go out to property owners, who did not renew membership last year.  He also mentioned contacting APS for new hook-ups.  Janet will check on the property list.  It was decided to include with the newsletter pre-addressed envelopes for those owners, who had not renewed.

Janet noted that the newsletter is almost ready to mail. The deadline for Board members to submit information is Saturday.  It was decided to have a stuff-the-newsletter get-together on Monday.

A discussion was held regarding changing LMPOA’s status to a 501( c )(3) (non-profit).

BCRC:  A discussion was held regarding BCRC’s wanting to obtain individual memberships.  It has become difficult to get organizations in the area to belong and/or to send delegates to the meetings.  It was thought that there would be additional participants should BCRC appeal to individuals. However, all organizations seem to be suffering from lack of participation.  The answer for BCRC may not be to apply to individuals.

Water: Janet reported that Yavapai County Flood Control has a website.

Arizona Water has requested a 27% increase.  This would be the second increase in a short amount of time.  A discussion was held with the outcome being a letter be sent from LMPOA.  Sharon agreed to write this letter.

Beaver Buggy:   The grant from Sedona Community Foundation has not yet been received.  More drivers are needed..

In January the Board will discuss making a donation to Beaver Creek Adult Center

Currently, LMPOA is paying for the maintenance of Rollins Park every other week.  The watering is being done twice a week.

The bids for doing the electrical in Rollins Park were discussed.  It was moved by Maggie, seconded by Karin that the Cunningham bid for the electrical plus the permit be accepted.  Motion carried.
