Board Meeting Minutes

November 12, 2012, 5:00PM, BCAC

 

 

The regular Board Meeting of the Lake Montezuma Property Owners Association was called to order by President Sharon Brooks at 5:05PM. Board members attending were Maggie Holt, Karin Krippene, Jim Bowser, Ron Melcher and Janet Aniol.  Tom Saunders was absent.  Richard Casmier, Marcella and Bill Merkley were in attendance.

The treasurer's report as follows was given by Janet.

The treasurer's report was accepted to file for audit.

The minutes from March 4th had been distributed. They were corrected to note that Jim Bowser was absent from that meeting. It was moved by Ron, seconded by Maggie that the minutes be accepted as corrected. Motion carried.

Public Agenda Items:  Bill Merkley would like to paint the benches in the Park.  A discussion was held regarding a property of approximately .5 acre in Rimrock using the lot as a parking are for several pick-ups.  Also discussed was the use of residential property as a business location.

President's Update:  Tom Saunders is no longer going to be on the Board.  It was decided to send a card to Tom thanking him for his service to LMPOA.

Rollins Park:  Janet reported that Jim Guerreri was paid $185, which included his raise and extras he provided for the Park.  The fountain has a crack at the base; the work needed will be estimated.  It’s possible a cement patch can be used.  The backflow has a leak.  Janet will check with the person, who previously did the work.

BCRC: No Report

Membership: No Report

 Old Business:  None reported

 Water: Janet reported that nothing new is known at this time regarding the intended work on the Bridge.

 New Business:  Jim mentioned that relatives of his walked down to the creek and were told by someone that they were on private property and could not continue.  It was noted that some creek-side owners’ property does extend out to the middle of the creek.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 5:31PM.

The next meeting will be held on May 6, 2013.
