Old Business - Board of Supervisors

 

  • 9/8/09, HA# H9040: Modification of Public Notice sections.  For Less than one acre parcels 300 feet.  For one acre or more 1000 feet.  Approved by unanimous vote.
  • 9/8/09, HA# H7117: Section 441 Open Space and Sustainable Development Option and Section 442 Cluster and Open Space Option.  Approved by unanimous vote.
  • 9/21/09, HA# H9038: Detached Guest Homes as Rentals.  Denied by unanimous vote. 

 

Recent LMPOA P&Z Actions

 

  • 9/14/2009 Response to ZOA HA# H9078 Temporary Event Permit:  1)"We feel the administrative approval of events should include Citizen Participation (Section 209) and/or Administrative Review with Comment Period (section 504) or some form of Public Notice to include Neighborhood Organizations.  2) There may be a typo in Section F. "reduce detrimental effects to surrounding developments areas and to.…" 3)Most importantly, LMPOA supports the Beaver Creek Kiwanis, in their request for relief for small, non-profit, events held to raise money.  Surely these local fund raisers should not be subject to the same fees as a Rodeo or Carnival.  This is next scheduled to be heard by the Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting October 7, 2009 at 9:30 AM in Prescott.
  • 9/14/2009 Response to ZOA HA# H9072 RVs Travel Trailer Temp Camp: Offered our support in a letter requesting clarification for ZOA's.  This is next scheduled to be heard by the Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting October 7, 2009 at 9:30 AM in Prescott.
  • 9/16/2009 LMPOA P&Z addressed the clarity in ZOA's issue with favorable response.
  • 10/1/2009 Response to ZOA H9039 Light Pollution Control:  "Pleased to offer support."  This is next scheduled to be heard by the Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting October 7, 2009 at 9:30 AM in Prescott.

 

New Business

 

  • ZOA HA# H9089 Allow Park Models (2003 and newer trailers between 320 and 400 square feet) to Residentially zoned parcels, Not RMM (residential Multi-Sectional Manufactured) or R1L (residential single family limited) This is next scheduled to be heard by the Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting October 7, 2009 at 9:30 AM in Prescott, then on October 21 in Cottonwood.
  • Use Permit HA# H9088 for Las Margaritas Grill II; located in C1-3 (Commercial; Neighborhood Sales and Services) zoning -- for a full liquor license.  Scheduled for Planning and Zoning Commission hearing date 10-21-09 in Cottonwood.
